If you read my blog at all (which I truly appreciate if you do), you will most likely notice my wide range of emotions. I can go from high to low in 0.001 seconds. I often wonder when it’s okay to be yourself. I find that it’s not okay for me to have feelings about anything. I feel like when I am having a bad day, am sad, or just simply need a good cry, people think I’m being too emotional, or over-dramatic, or ridiculous, or whatever…
I just don’t know how to have emotions anymore, I think. I’m so damn scared of ever letting someone see me upset...

My restless mind runs free and tirelessly. Thoughts, both happy and haunting, cloud my brain and take over my entirety. Sleep is fleeting and seems like nothing more than a sweet dream that I should be having, were I actually able to turn down the noise that clutters my head.

Just a quick update:
Things have been pretty good, as of late. My grandmother’s surgery went unbelievably well, and is already out of rehabilitation. The doctor, upon taking out her staples, told her that she was nothing short of a medical miracle. I’m happy that she’s healing properly and quickly.
